US Partnership for Nitrogen Production
Our subsidiary in the USA has entered into a strategic partnership with MSS Nitrogen Inc. for autonomous nitrogen production for the North American market. MSS Nitrogen Inc., based in Rock Hill, SC, is a leading supplier in the field of autonomous nitrogen production. Bystronic Inc. is responsible for sales and distribution of these products and will offer both the NitroCube and NitrO2 products. Each model has a specific application area based on the customerʼs requirements. The NitroCube offers the guaranteed lowest cost and highest purity for nitrogen. The NitroCube is ideally suited to meet the demands of todayʼs ever-increasing fiber laser cutting requirements. The purity of the nitrogen produced by the NitroCube is typically 99.999%, and systems are carefully sized according to the userʼs consumption figures to ensure the correct flow and storage capacity.

New state of the art cleanroom
Recently, our new clean room at the headquarters in Niederönz was completed and put into operation. During construction and setup, special attention was paid to optimizing working conditions. Our new cleanroom was built by an external specialist. The aim and purpose of the new cleanroom is to manufacture laser cutting heads for high power (15 kilowatts and more), so that production capacity can be significantly increased. The new clean room was visually designed by a color designer. The purpose of the color and design concept was to enhance the functional quality of the cleanroom. The goal was to design the workplace environment in such a way that it would provide positive stimuli and enhance the quality of the workplaces in the cleanroom, as well as in the adjacent areas. Positive pressure is maintained in the cleanroom to prevent particles from entering from outside. 77 Filter fan units remove lighter particles from the air, while allowing heavier particles to settle gently to the floor.

Acquisition of the software specialist Kurago
As part of Bystronicʼs growth strategy, we intend to increasingly serve the growing demand for automation and digital processes in the sheet metal working industry with new, intelligent software solutions and to network manufacturing processes for our customers. The acquisition of the Spanish software specialist Kurago was the next important step in achieving this goal. Bystronic and Kurago have been linked by an innovation partnership since 2019, in which smart factory software solutions were jointly developed.

New subsidiary in Thailand
We recently opened a new subsidiary in the Thai capital Bangkok with a traditional Buddhist ceremony. Monks blessed our employees and the new premises. After a decade of partnership with a local representative, we are officially opening Bystronic Thailand Co. Ltd. This will enable us to respond even faster to the customer’s needs and to move into new segments. The experienced engineering team of the local representative has been serving customers for years. The new sales team will additionally increase the level of awareness of Bystronic in Thailand. With the opening of the new branch in Bangkok, we have another sales and service center in an important region for Bystronic. In addition to sales, service, spare parts management, consulting, and hotline services, software and hardware training courses are also offered at the new location.
